Ice skating

A diverse program of leisure activities for young and old also characterizes the city on the Danube. In addition to the local recreation areas Jauerling, pilgrimage trails and the Danube Cycle Path, you will also find opportunities to engage in sports in the city.

The ice skating rink was completely renovated as recently as 2018 and is in operation from December to February, weather permitting. On an area of 38 x 27 meters, weekly ice disco, ice skating courses and ice hockey trainings are held. Admission for children up to 6 years is free. Ice skates and learning aids for small children are provided for a rental fee.

If you get cold after several laps on the ice, you can warm up in the adjacent restaurant with hot drinks and smaller snacks and larger dishes.
