It glitters and sparkles – Christmas is near!

Nestled in the baroque ambience of Melk Abbey, you will find the enchanting Melk Advent market in the old town centre and pedestrian zone. 

From 29^th November to 22^nd December 2024, a wonderful Advent village will be created from the main square to the town hall square.

In the festively decorated city centre, an extensive entertainment programme will get you in the mood for the Christmas festivities. 

From classical choral singing to traditional brass band music and modern acts, you can expect a colourful mix of captivating sounds.

In the lovingly decorated stalls, you will find arts and crafts and all kinds of gift ideas, as well as culinary delicacies.

MON – THU: 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm

FRI, SAT, SUN: 1.00 pm to 9.00 pm
