It glitters and sparkles – Christmas is near!
Nestled within the baroque ambience of Melk Abbey, the enchanting Melk Advent Market can be found in the old town centre and pedestrian precinct.
From 28th November to 21st December 2025, a wonderful Advent Village will be created from the Main Square to the Town Hall Square.
The festively decorated city centre will host an extensive entertainment programme to get you in the mood for the upcoming christmas festivities.
Expect a colourful mix of captivating sounds, from classical choral singing and traditional brass band music to modern acts.
The lovingly decorated stalls offer arts and crafts, gift ideas and culinary delicacies.

Every year pre-christmas, the Melk Advent turns Melks historical old-town and pedestrian precinct into a magical christmas-experience.
