The Golden Stairs

From the Kolomanibrunnen in front of the town hall, golden glass stones mixed under the granite stones lead into the Sechsergasse. Via the Golden Staircase you reach the baroque Melk Abbey.

The monastery, which rises above the town, is the focal point of this path. The message of the golden glass stones of the two Gritsch brothers is conveyed in meditative form encoded via Morse code and expresses the soul of the path.
