Before reaching Sterngasse, turn left uphill on a narrow path to the oldest house still standing, the Haus am Stein (Kremser Straße No. 2). The two-story, long residential house in private ownership was built at the end of the 15th century in rough quarry stone masonry.
The entire front is covered with a vine several hundred years old. It survived the phylloxera disaster around 1900 and is protected as a natural monument. The medieval quarry stone building next to it served as a storehouse.
